A living method of self-relationship

Meet yourself
where you are.

HSRM™ helps you remain in relationship with yourself through changing states, needs, capacities and seasons.

01

The HSRM foundation

The relationship is the method.

You are not a problem to solve. Your capacity is information. Your needs are worthy of being heard. Your emotions are not problems to regulate away; they can be witnessed, listened to and supported without making their disappearance the condition of success.

How HSRM holds a human

The practice adapts to the person—not the person to the practice.

These are not productivity rules. They are the relational conditions that keep the method humane, capacity-aware and rooted in choice.

Meet

  • Relationship before performance
  • Check-in before acting
  • Curiosity before judgement
  • Honour before correction

Support

  • Capacity before expectation
  • Support before demand
  • Choice over compliance
  • Agency, always

Return

  • Adapt the practice to the human
  • Rhythm over rigidity
  • Whole-self care
  • Return is always available

A different measure of success

A day is not measured by how much you did.

A yes matters. A no is information, not failure. Even the check-in counts—and the next return remains available.

Did I check in?

Did I hear myself?

Did I offer any available support?

Did I return?

One relationship. Four instruments.

A way to understand yourself—and return in the moment.

HSRM holds depth without asking the same amount from you every day. The method expands when capacity is available and becomes beautifully simple when it is not.

How much is available?

Capacity Compass™

Green, Amber, Red and Black describe present capacity—not achievement, identity or worth.

What do I practise now?

Return Loop

Notice. Witness. Locate. Honour. Support. Choose. Integrate. Return.

Move through. Come back. Always returning.

Where is support needed?

Self Compass

Physical. Mental. Emotional. Spiritual. Four dimensions, held in relationship rather than perfected.

Balance is not perfection. It is relationship.

What do I learn over time?

HSRM Wheel

Understand. Recognise. Map. Honour. Support. Regulate. Lead. Integrate.

How much can I hold, process, choose and do right now?

Created from lived need

I wasn’t developing a modality. I was learning my own language.

It began as something I made to hold myself.

Years of eclectic knowledge had made me very good at helping other people. But when I was frazzled, that knowledge seemed to evaporate from my own brain and I could sit frozen until function returned. Motherhood, inconveniently, did not stop needing things when my executive functioning left the building.

I tried apps, resources and beautifully organised timetables. They lasted about three weeks—“busy” often being the respectable name I gave boredom. What I actually needed was novelty and consistency, depth and simplicity: a way to support my whole self that could shrink to almost nothing without turning almost nothing into failure.

The honest question—How is my nervous system today?—became the first colour-based framework and, eventually, the Capacity Compass™. As I used it, edited it and shared the Black Day Protocol with friends in overwhelm, the personal toolkit began revealing something much larger.

What is growing now

HSRM is moving from a lived and printed framework into an accessible digital home. Each layer will open when it is ready to be held responsibly.

01

Printable HSRM library

Core charts, guided modules, practices and support tools gathered into one clear library.

In development
02

The HSRM app

A digital delivery environment for HSRM—not the method itself. The early experience begins with safety, present capacity, one personal support need, one available action and a gentle recheck.

03

Practice collaborations

An ethical home for aligned practitioners to bring their original mastery into HSRM through permission, attribution and shared value.
